Stone paper–also known as mineral paper is a new type of paper made primarily from calcium carbonate (typically 70%-80% content) with a small amount of polymer materials like polyethylene added through special processing techniques. This material disrupts the traditional paper production model, which relies on plant fibers, introducing revolutionary changes to the paper manufacturing industry.

Significant Advantages of Stone Paper

Outstanding Environmental Performance: The production process does not require cutting down trees. Producing one ton of stone paper can save 20 large trees, effectively protecting forest resources. The entire manufacturing process utilizes no water, thereby fundamentally solving the water pollution problem associated with traditional papermaking, which consumes hundreds of tons of water per ton of paper. The production process emits almost no wastewater, waste gas, or residue, reducing environmental pollution.

Main Application Fields of Stone Paper

Printing Industry: Suitable for printing various books, magazines, posters, and brochures, especially printed materials that need long-term preservation or use in humid environments. So we can use these kinds of material to make RFID hotel key cards, such as NFC hotel key cards, UHF key cards, etc.
